Joining Color Street is easy. Deciding whether it’s the right fit for you takes a little more thought.
Before enrolling, here are some questions I recommend asking yourself and any potential sponsor you’re considering joining under.
Why Do You Want to Join?
There isn’t a wrong answer. Maybe you:
- Love the products.
- Want a discount.
- Need extra income.
- Want a flexible side hustle.
- Are looking for a new challenge.
Understanding your goals will help you decide whether Color Street is a good fit.
What Are Your Expectations?
Many people join direct sales expecting instant success. Like most anything, this depends on several factors including, but not limited to, your personal effort, consistency, market conditions, and your business skills. Color Street does not guarantee any income or success (see the income disclosure statement).
Knowing your expectations ahead of time can help you avoid frustration later.
What Kind of Support Do You Want?
Every sponsor has a different style. Consider asking:
- How do you communicate with your team?
- What training is available?
- How often do you check in?
- Is there a team group?
- What support is available for new stylists?
Do Your Personalities Work Well Together?
This matters more than people realize. You’ll likely communicate with your sponsor regularly, especially when you’re new. Finding someone whose communication style matches yours can make a big difference. For example, my communication style is that I will absolutely answer any question you have and help in any way I can as soon as I can, but I won’t be in your inbox or texts all the time.
Have You Done Your Research?
Before joining any company, take time to:
- Learn about the products.
- Review the compensation plan.
- Understand current policies.
- Read the income disclosure statement.
- Ask questions.
The more informed you are, the more confident you’ll feel in your decision.

You do you
Joining Color Street should feel exciting, not pressured. Take your time, ask questions, and choose the path that feels right for you. Whether you decide to join or simply remain a customer, the goal is finding what works best for you.
I feel I found Color Street at the right time in my life. My only regret is still not joining sooner than I did. The company I joined first, I did for fun. The company I joined second, I did because I wanted to take all my newfound business knowledge and run a business online without being spammy & gross. Later, I joined another company that seemed really great but wasn’t a good fit for me. Don’t get me wrong, I made money. But there came a point where I grew to hate it, just a little bit.
I hope you find what makes you tick. Color Street has been my favorite since 2018. If you’d like to learn more about the comp plan, request a sample, or ask questions, I’m happy to help. Connect with me on my Facebook page or join my group!
