Top 5 gift ideas

May is a busy month

May is full of gift giving opportunities. Mother’s Day 2018 is May 13th. But before that, you also have Teacher’s Appreciation Week (May 7 – 11), National Nurses Week (May 6 – 12) and a host of other appreciation days and/or weeks for other professions. Not to mention many colleges and universities have their graduation ceremonies during the end of April or the beginning of May. Then towards the end of May and into June, high school graduations are going on. At the end of the school year, many also like to give teachers and school employees parting gifts. That’s a lot, friends. I’ve put together a list of my favorite gift ideas that won’t break your budget.

Top 5 Gift Ideas

  1. Color Street nail strips! You saw that coming, didn’t you friends? But our “Buy 3, Get 1” deal on solids, glitters and designs really is a great deal! Or maybe the ladies in your life prefer French tips? Those are always “Buy 1, Get 1!” Buy some as gifts and keep some for yourself. Win-win! A set or 4 would look great in a mug or cute basket filled with nail care items or candy! Need more Color Street ideas? Shoot me an email and let’s talk about it!
  2. Plants! Or the pots to put them in. This set of 3 mini white ceramic succulent pots would brighten up any room and since they’re so small, they’ll fit just about anywhere!
  3. Pampering items! Moms, nurses, teachers, grads and others who work hard deserve to have a little pampering. Perfectly Posh has many affordable items. A “Posh to Meet You” bundle is only $20 (plus tax & shipping) and comes with a chunk bar and a Big Fat Yummy Hand Crème.
  4. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate! Cost Plus World Market is one of my favorite places to browse. They have a great selection of flavored coffees, teas and hot chocolate. A couple of those in a super cute mug with a some chocolate squares or whatnot is a great gift. Alternatively, you could put together a basket of snacks. They have a great selection of single serve cheeses, sausages, crackers and other snacks that would make a fun little mini picnic for someone. Add a package of seasonal napkins & wrap the basket in cellophane. Everything you need can be found in the store, so it’s super convenient.
  5. Gift card! Don’t know what to buy? Forgot to buy something? Need it ASAP? This is where the gift card comes in, friends. Everyone loves a gift card! Especially from Amazon. You can get a gift card in a gift box, or with a card shipped to you in mere days. You can send one via email or print it at home if you need it faster! The options are pretty much endless.
